|Part 2| Sterek AU: Derek’s search for a babysitter for his son Scott has lead him to Stiles Stilinski. Derek’s hesitant about hiring him due mainly to his age but definitely partly due to the fact that Derek spent the first five minutes of the interview staring at Stiles’ lips.
The thing that convinces Derek to hire Stiles is that he can see the same loss in his eyes that he sees in Scott’s, and the same aching loneliness that he sees reflected back in the mirror. Stiles may not be perfect, but he might just be the perfect fit for their dysfunctional little family.
